Born in Eastbourne in 1965 the youngest of 5 Children. Jason emigrated to Australia at the age of two where he grew up amongst the picturesque hills of Mount Dandenong surrounded by farms and forest. He began a Fine Arts course in Australia but was never really interested in modern art and eventually gave that up to complete a Finished Art course, attaining a diploma and a distinction for Illustration. After graduating in 1991 he found work illustrating for advertising agencies and design studios in Melbourne.
In 1995 Jason returned to England and started his own company 'Atomic Squib Ltd'. Atomic Squib built up a strong client base including Marks and Spencers, where for several years he worked on technical illustration, shop layout and design. He also illustrates extensively for Pan Macmillan and Scholastic Children's Books amongst many others.
For the future Jason will continue developing the same themes and one day hopes to publish a book of his paintings and stories.
